I received my Bachelor of Arts in English Literature from The University of the South in 2015. I then began my content career in 2017 when I joined Cognella Academic Publishing as an editorial assistant. In 8 months on the job, I was promoted to Associate Editor. 

 

In years following, I worked as an SEO Content Writer for ApricotLaw and Siege Media, where I wrote for B2B and B2C brands like Asana, Semrush, Shutterfly, and West Elm. During this time, I also dabbled in journalism, contributing bylines to publications like Food & Beverage Magazine and Portland Monthly Magazine. 

 

In 2023, I earned my Master of Arts in Teaching from the University of Portland. I now work as an Associate Content Specialist on the Educator Team at Course Hero. In this role, I contribute to content strategy and produce content that helps build authentic relationships with educators.
